The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency stated it is actually alarmed about the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area each day. The support level made for intervention experiences a high influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for your Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to allow the servicing of status sassa all prospects and maximize usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
